A Little About Us

The WonderPork farm is a small multi-generational pig farm located just outside of East Lynn, Illinois. Our farming and retail operations are run by Chris and Lisa Leigh and Bryce and Hannah Leigh who live on the farm. While our remote family members Cody and Heather Moore are in Hoopeston and Alan and Lauren Leigh are in Washington D.C. Potential for a “WonderPork East” branch could be in the works.

The idea to sell pork directly to customers at farmers markets had been discussed many times around the dinner table at family gatherings, and in 2021 we decided to give it a shot. Raising pigs isn’t always easy but the challenge is what makes us tick! We’ve had such a great time at our local farmers market in Danville, Illinois that we decided in 2023 that we were ready to branch out and try a few markets farther from home.

We love raising pigs and meeting our customers. We are always striving to improve at everything that we do each day. We hope that the quality of our products reflects the care, time, and energy that we invest in our farm, animals, and farmers market operations. We won’t sell you anything that we don’t feed our own families.
